Red Hat Visit

I was extremely lucky to be able to visit one of the UK offices of Red Hat as part of the Tomlinscote App Development team today. It was inspiring to experience the team atmosphere and gave me an insight into the operation of a global technology company.

We spent the day working with one of the teams there who allowed us to demo our app before delivering a workshop focused around the software development process and Agile techniques. It was a great opportunity that gave us a taste of how professional developers work and helped us to plan out the next steps for our own projects.

Overall it was a brilliant experience that was really useful as well as fun to take part in.
